Connectware Time Frames

Time Frames are set dates, times that apply every day, or a combination of the two.

When applying time frames, always apply them in order from less frequent to most frequent. For example if there are three time frames, every day from 8am to 5pm, default, and 4th of July only. The order they should be applied in is:

  1. 4th of July

  2. Every day 8am - 5pm

  3. Default

"A simple name for the time frame should be descriptive and cannot be changed.

Sets when the time frame will apply; options are:

  • Always: This is not commonly needed as there is a default time frame that always applies.

  • Days of the Week: Allows the selection of specific days and times on those days where the time frame applies. Used commonly for restaurant hours or for front desk open/close hours.

  • Specific Dates: Used to set holiday seasons or summer / winter hours.

  • Holidays: Used to set reoccurring holidays and set what happens if that holiday falls on a weekend day.

  • Custom: Creates a group of different rules including Days of the Week, Specific Dates, and Holidays.

    • Recurrence: Does the time frame apply every week/day, only once, or some other option. The options here vary based on the type of time frame setup.
