Time Frames
This page can be a bit challenging to use and misconfiguration can lead to missed calls. Please be careful and make sure to test that everything is working as expected.
This page is used to create periods of time that can be used as reference to route calls differently. Common usage includes:
Day / Night hours.
Holidays.
Weekends.
Setup of time frames can be a bit complex so please reach out to your ConnectWare reseller to aid as needed.
The process for setting up new Time Frames is as follows.
Click the Add Time Frame button at the top right.
Provide a name (short description).
Select the type of Time Frame. Note that there is already an “Always” time frame built called “default” and another with the same type is not needed.
Always: All the time, use the “default” time frame.
Days of the Week: Sets a start and end time for each day of the week.
Specific Dates: Used for summer / winter hours or other non-holiday dates.
Holidays: Uses a pre-built list of holidays based on country.
Custom: Uses a combination of of all above rules.
For this example we will use Days of the Week.
From the Days of the Week tab select the days this rule applies and then the time during those days to apply the rule.
Set the time on the first day then use the copy to all button to apply to all the days.
Once done click save. Note in most cases the Recurrence should be set to Every Week.
