Phones
This page allows the editing of speed dial keys.
Here is display a list of all the phones assigned to the user. In most cases the user has one phone, but if the user has a phone at home, or in other offices, more than one phone will be displayed.
If your unsure what phone is what, simply look at the back of the phone for the MAC address and match the last four of the MAC to the phone on the screen.
To edit the phones speed dial keys click the blue gear icon.
Your phone might look different than the one pictured below but the overall process is the same.
On the left there is a picture of the phone. Click on a button to edit it and the key assignment on the left will become active.
From the menu on the left set a feature (i.e. BLF) and the users extension.
Options include:
Busy Lamp Field (BLF): A key that works as a speed dial to that user, a lighted indicator if they are on the phone, and a way to pickup calls ringing their extension (button will blink when a call is ringing).
Call Park: Quickly places the current call in park. Once in park that call can be picked up from any other phone on the system by pressing the park key again or dialing 7001-7002.
Speed Dial: Used to setup a speed dial to an internal extension, or external number.
DTMF: When pressed will play the set DTMF (touch tones) on the call. Used most commonly to operate parking gates or other similar devices.
Queue Toggle: If the user is part of a queue this button will log them into or out of a queue.
Time Frame Toggle: Used to toggle a time frame (i.e. manual day / night mode). Note that this time frame must be setup under the time frames page first.
Move my Call: This button moves the current call to the connect mobile app.
Once the buttons have been setup click the save button.
Clicking the up arrow on the save button will allow you to select Save and resync which will apply changes to the phone right away. Clicking save only will apply the changes within one day.
